He requested that the College of International Education should raise its position, fully understand the status and prospect of international student education in the development of the university and serve the internationalization strategy of the university; liberate the mind, open up ideas, strengthen the construction of curriculum, specialties and teachers on the basis of rationalizing the system and mechanism, and gradually carry out homogeneous education; create international student education with Chinese characteristics based on traditional culture, and cultivate students who identify with Chinese culture and know and love China.
