Fire Regulations of International Student Apartment

In order to do a good job of fire and electricity safety education management in international students apartment, ensure the majority of students' personal and property safety, eliminate fire hazards, prevent and eliminate the occurrence of fire and casualties, we institute fire electrical safety rules of apartment for international students:

1、In addition to electrical appliances that the School provides, it is strictly prohibited  using other electrical appliances in the apartment, such as hair dryer, iron, electric heater, hair straightener, electric blanket, hot fast, rice cookers, cookers, electric cups, so as not to cause a fire.

2、To prevent the use of electricity overload trip or line overheating causing fire, do not use a number of high-power electrical appliances at the same time, such as: microwave ovens, air conditioners, electric shower, kettle. Any two of them can not be used at the same time.

3、To use of the electrical equipment that the School provides correctly. For example, before using electric shower, students should ensure the water pipe open to avoid burning caused by fire.

4、Not allow to change the original power supply lines indoor, not privately pull the line, so as to avoid leakage wounding.

5、It is strictly forbidden to make power lines and plugboard tied to the bed frame or put into the bed directly, it also can not be buried in the bedding and bed sheets. Power lines and plug panels and other consumables damaged or aging should be replaced in time to avoid leakage wounding or causing fire.

6、Finding problems of electrical appliances in apartment, students should report to repairman   timely, do not deal with them by yourself or at your own risk.

7、All the power insurance in the apartment must use the model specified by the school electrical room. Finding a fault, students should report to attendant on duty for repair.

8、Patchboard and electrical equipment should be closed immediately after using it so as to avoid wounding leakage or overheating causing fire.

9、No smoking in the apartment, no fireworks or firecrackers in the building, so as not to cause fire.

10、It is strictly prohibited to move and destroy fire fighting equipment privately. Anyone who moves or destroys fire fighting equipment will not only cause security problems, but also be held liable.

11、Cut off all indoor power supplies for internships, travels, or vacations. Do not use charging equipment in the absence of people.If people go out, lights shoud go off.

12、It is strictly forbidden to use any kinds of stoves in the apartment, such as: alcohol stove, gas stove, liquefied gas stove. Do not store flammable and explosive materials in the dormitory, such as: gasoline, kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, fireworks and so on.

13、In the bedroom,students can not use candle lights or opening fire, do not burn letters and any other items.

14、No cooking in the apartment room.

15、Do not move fire equipment and fire extinguishers.
