Rules and regulations for Oversea Students’ Hostel

1.The first day when you reach our hostel, you should hand in your passport, admission notice and your accommodation deposit to ForeignStudentsDailyLifeServiceCenter. Before arrangement of your room, you must finish the information form about yourself seriously and clearly.

2.It is forbidden for foreign students to organize or take part in any kind of activity in dormitory which will violate the laws and regulations of Peoples’ Republic of China. Once we found that, we will cancel your boarding qualification and report to judicial office to dispose that.

3.Without permission, no person can exchange the room optionally. By principle, it is prohibited to change your room after you get the room which is arranged for you. Who indeed want to change the room, you should go to theForeignStudentsDailyLifeServiceCenterto finish the Application Form for Foreign Students’ Room Transposition as the applicant. It is free for you to change the room when you just get your new room, but if you want to change the room which you had kept for a long time you should recover the room or you should pay for the cleaning fee.

4.It is prohibited to change your door’s lock by yourself. For the loss caused by the changing of the lock, you should compensate refer to the original price. It is forbidden to move the facilities out of your room.

5.For the persons who do any kind of behaviors that obstruct the administrator that execute the management comply with the regulation and don’t obey the orders of administrator when the serious problems or accidents happen in hostel, we will cancel the boarding qualification. To who make serious aftermath, we will investigate their corresponding responsibility.

6.Keep cleaning of the dormitory and develop the habit of hygiene, accept the inspection and supervision from the administrator. It is forbidden to litter everywhere in passage, stair and outside. You can attach the poster on the designated place, but never scrawl on the wall or windows.

7.It is forbidden to feed any kind of pets in dormitory. Every one should throw the rubbish into the dustbin. It is prohibited to organize any kind of activities which have nothing to do with your study, your life or our college. We will punish the violator with related regulations.

8.Please comply with the rest timetable made by our school, return back your room in time. It is prohibited to go out of hostel when the door is locked in nigh.

9.Keep the hostel quiet, it is forbidden to play football, volleyball, cricket, basketball or ride a bike in our hostel, once found we will confiscate that and punish the violator according to the circumstance. No fireworks playing, intemperance drunk or gambling in dormitory.

10.It is prohibited to molest any person with any means and reason. Those who molest others with language or characters, we will deduct three months free units of their room. Those who molest others with knocking at the door or window, we will deduct half year free units of that room. Those who molest others by mischief, we will deduct one year free units of that room. Those who reach the standard that can get punishment of the law, we will send you to he department concerned and cancel your boarding qualification without returning back the accommodation fee.

11.It is not allowed to accommodate outsiders in the hostel. On special occasions, if the outsider has to stay in the school,ForeignStudentsDailyLifeServiceCenterwill help to arrange the accommodation. Boys are prohibited to enter the girl’s hostel, so is the opposite.

12.Any visitor or your friend needs to be registered in the guard’s room and the reception room is the only place allowed to meet them.

13.Take good care of communal facilities and communal prosperities. Furniture and curtains shall not be removed or taken away arbitrarily. Lamps and lanterns, air conditions, taps, wash basins, squatting pan, water-supply, power-supply and water heater should be protected and employed in a right way. Dismantling privately and damaging them is strictly prohibited. You shall pay for any lose or damage of the facilities.

14.Please obey the principle of using electricity safely and saving the electricity. It is strictly prohibited to connect electric wire disorderly and use electric furnace, iron and heater. Once found, we will confiscate your electric equipment and impose a fine on you according to the regulations.

15.Keep your room clean and quiet. Don’t throw rubbish throw windows. Don’t damage the doors, windows and other facilities in the public place.

16.Park your bicycle in the appointed lot. It is forbidden to double-park your bicycle and park in the hostel.

17.If you suffer from infectious disease, follow the doctor’s advice and cooperate with the doctor.

18.Obey the rules and regulations of the hostel; respect the administrative staff’s work. When they perform their duties, please cooperate with them. The administrative staff will check your room every Monday，Wednesday and Friday. Whoever violates rules and regulations will be educated and imposed a fine in accordance with the seriousness of the cause.

19.If there is a fire, thievery, fight or anything urgent happens, please go to inform the staff on duty or call 6229110 as soon as possible.

20.It is strictly prohibited to read or spread insalubrious newspapers, magazines and watch insalubrious audiovisual products, Take an active part in the competition for the civilized dormitory and other healthy activities.

21.Graduates and interns must hew to the rules and regulations of the hostel. Graduates must move out of the hostel before the schedule time. On special occasions, if you have to stay in our school, only when you go to the Foreign Students Daily Life Service Center to hand in the accommodation form and accommodation deposit can you live in the hostel.
