On February 5, the Publicity Department of Tai'an Municipal Party Committee, the Foreign Affairs Office of Tai'an City and the College of International Education of Shandong First Medical University organized activities related to foreign students in Tai'an to experience Chinese traditional culture. In just a few minutes, a piece of red paper was transformed into a beautiful "Five Bats Holding Longevity" paper-cutting work in the hands of Zhao Ying, the fifth generation paper-cutting artist in Taishan, which left the international students in awe. "Every holiday season people put festive paper cutouts on their homes, a beautiful art that I love." Li Jing from Zimbabwe picked up her teacher's paper-cutting work and showed it to her friends around her, "The teacher said that 'bat' means 'fortune', and the Taishan paper-cutting not only has a beautiful design and magical technique, but also has a beautiful meaning! "

The ritual of the opening of the pen, commonly known as the "breaking of the mud", marks the beginning of the learning stage for schoolchildren. Many international students were impressed by the ceremony of Chinese Confucianism. One international student said that he was excited by the beating of the drum and the sounding of the will, and that such a traditional Chinese cultural activity was far-reaching, and he had gained another layer of understanding of traditional Chinese culture, such as diligent study and respect for teachers.

Under the guidance of the teacher, Isis from Bangladesh took over the topping bag, dipped it in ink, rhythmically tapped on the rice paper immediately over the stone objects, and slowly, the calligraphic characters of "Tarzan Stone Daredevil" gradually became clear on the rice paper. "Chinese culture is very profound, and I am very happy to come here today to experience various traditional cultures." Looking at his "masterpiece", Isis nodded his head in satisfaction. This is his third year in China from Bangladesh, and he has experienced many traditional Chinese customs and cultural activities, but this is the first time he tries to make a copy. "I had not been exposed to Transfiguration before, and it was an interesting experience. I like the friendliness and warmth of Taian people and I have gained and learned a lot here." Isis said.
