Relying on Taishan culture, the International Cultural Big Data (Taishan) Industry City gathers all resources of excellent traditional Chinese culture, integrates cultural elements of the new era, and creates a closed-loop of the whole industrial chain from data, scientific research, consulting, trading, mass innovation, investment and other fields. The international students visited the pilot area of the industrial City, which is divided into the Story of images, the art corridor of "The Power of Chinese Characters", the experience space of "The integration of Chinese Characters", the art installation wall, and the cultural exhibition area and industrial area such as "Digital Cultural Creation Exhibition". In these areas, cultural heritage such as murals, calligraphy and painting, silk fabrics, and sculptural works of art are built into hologram experience rooms, where foreign students can learn and interact from multiple perspectives and dimensions.
In the "Power of Chinese Characters" art corridor, international students can experience the culture of Chinese characters by touching the screen, understand the evolution of Chinese characters, and feel the changes and development history of data storage methods from ancient times to the present. In the holographic projection, the international students experienced the charm of the holographic projection, felt the magical animation effect, through digital technological means to let the international students see the development of China.
In the experience session, the students changed their Hanfu and Tang costume together, learned tea art from the teacher, and tasted the Taishan Daughter of tea made by themselves. After tea tasting, they also experienced the beauty of Chinese classical Musical Instruments. Jasmine Flower, a Chinese folk song which is well known overseas, showed the beauty of Chinese culture. The students sang it together, which showed both international style and Chinese flavor, and made the communication between Chinese and foreign cultures accessible.
