On the morning of May 12, the ceremony for the commencement of overseas students' spring graduation and bachelor degree was held in the academic lecture hall of the information building. 19 medical students from 7 countries, including Garner, India, Pakistan, the United States, Nepal, Bangladesh and Mauritius, have successfully completed their studies. School leaders Wang Changsong, Wang Xuechun, Wang Qingbao, Peng Chunlei, Xu Shufeng, and Liu Tailai attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Xu Shufeng.

The academic degrees committee chairman, President Wang Xuechun delivered a speech at the ceremony of graduation, express his sincere congratulations to students who complete their education and thanks to teachers who work hard for education of international students. He expected the students to work hard for human health services, to contribute their strength, lifelong learning, hard work, saving lives, to serve the motherland. And he also hoped that the students do not forget their alma mater after returning home, let the world know more about Taishan Medical University, and become a disseminator of friendship between China and foreign countries.

Teacher representative Liu Liwei sent sincere wishes to the students who are studying abroad. He hopes that they will seize their youth and keep forging ahead, and always seek truth, innovation, ideas, energy and faith. Graduate student representative AKWETEY TETTEH MISHAEL also delivers a speech, reviews the precious time in school learning and life, expresses gratitude to his alma mater, saying they will work hard to pay back his alma mater and pursue their own dreams bravely.

In a warm applause, party secretary Wang Changsong, on behalf of Taishan Medical University, accepts the gift from the graduate student. Wang Xuechun issues degree dial tassels to students one by one, and take a picture one by one so as to express the sincere wishes for students.

Finally, the foreign teacher representative MAXWELL leads all the students to relive the oath of a medical student. The graduation and degree awarding ceremony ended in the sonorous iambic oath.
