Our Teacher Won the Prize at the First MBBS English Lecture Competition in the National Medical College

From June 17th to 20th, the first National Medical College MBBS project young teachers English lecture contest was held in Guangzhou, and our teacher Wang Hong participated and won the prize.

Wang Hong and other 53 teachers from Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Xi'an Jiao Tong University, China Medical University, Capital Medical University, Shandong University, Qiingdao University and other 50 institutions attended the competition. The competition is divided into two groups, one group consists of 33 people, the clinical group of 21 people, and all players are required to submit 1 hours English teaching plans and teaching design, the complete version of English teaching syllabus, English resume, speech, PPT before the competition. Each contestant has 20 minutes to complete a course of lecture. The organizing committee will evaluate the final list of the winners according to the scores of three expert judges, student judges and teaching plan scores. After fierce competition, our teacher Wang Hongrong won the third prize, which is the best achievement of Shandong Province participating universities.

At the same time, the conference also discussed the teaching quality standard, training program, syllabus requirements, entrance examination and medical licensing examination for clinical English Teaching (MBBS) for foreign students in china. Experts from the Hongkong Medical Association, Harbin Medical University and other units made a special report, and analyzed from the aspects of communication, English Teaching of MBBS undergraduate education professional certification standards and medical curriculum reform. A study, written by Wang Hong, Sun Baoliang and Zhao Xiuxia, which is related to the new model of educational management for foreign students in China, was also published at the conference.

Wang Hong, as a teacher of foreign students in our school, is the embodiment of the school's efforts to continuously strengthen the construction of foreign students' teaching staff. It is of great significance and impact on further promoting the international students' Education in our university.
