Project Introduction
On the basis of"1+4Year Project"launched in 2012,Shandong First Medical University and Yonsei University launched launched "0.5+4Year Project"in 2015.The "0.5" in "0.5+4Year Project" refers to the course of language training at the Shandong First Medical University for six months, which focuses on Korean language."4" refers to the 4 years undergraduatestudy inYonsei University.It is particularly important to note that Korean universities usually requirelevelthree for Korean language, butYonsei Universitydoesnot require Korean proficiency for applicants.After entering the university,Yonsei Universitywill train studentsthrough related courses of Korean culture and language educationso as to achievea substantial increase in students Korean language in a short time andhelp studentspassthe Korean language proficiency test (TOPIK).At present,two consecutivebatches of students who participate in"0.5+4Year Project" have all successfullybegan their studiesat Yonsei University.
AcademicPlanning
Academic Planning for 4 Years and a Half
Half a year (domestic):Students willaccept Korean language training for six months at the Taishan Medical University,and there isno requirement for Korean language proficiency.
Six months later-4 yearsand a half:Students will studyat Yonsei Universityand receive"KoreanCulture andManagementScience degreewhen theycompleteall their credits.

1、CentralEducation Ifor LanguageCompetence
After entering the first grade, students willfocus on Korean culture and other basic courses and training coursesso as totheirKorean language expression ability. At the same time,through1:1 private education systeminYonsei University,students willachieve a better level of Korean language in the shortest possible timeandmeet the needs of future life and learning.
2、CentralEducation II for LanguageCompetence
Since the first grade to the third grade, the university willhire foreign teachers (English speakers)to carry onEnglish education training coursesso as toprovide excellent language education for students, help students master English andPassTOEFL iBT,andguarantee the subsequent learning and development of student exchange project.
3、ExchangeProject andScholarship
After finishing the central education II for language competence and passingTOEFL iBT, students can go tothe United States for the exchange of learning within the specified time (the fourth grade 1 or 2 semesters).Throughstudying abroad, studentswillgainrich overseas experience in international business training.
During the exchange period in the United States, Yonsei University will provide part of the tuition support.In addition, students may apply for a variety of scholarships offered by the University during theirfirst three year study (fromfreshman to senior three).

Toll Standard
1.(domestic) Tuition fees for six months of language training courses at the Shandong First Medical University:RMB10000 yuan;Hotel expense：1200 yuan / year;Teaching materials and auxiliary fees:1000 yuan.
2.(Korea) studying abroad costs about RMB 80,000-110,000 yuan a year, including accommodation, meals and tuition
